Californian Road Trip

I was lucky enough to journey to Northern California last May.

It was an incredible time of year to be there; pink blankets of wild flowers were meeting the cliffs and sea coastline and the wildlife was quite something. And deer, squirrel, raccoon, and bird was out to play.

I even encountered a baby Bob Cat in front of me on the path to the Lighthouse, on the North side of the Golden Gate Bridge! Thank goodness Momma Bob Cat was trusting her curious cub and didn't have sites on us as dinner.

The melting snow of Spring made my planned kayaking impossible but instead I stood in awe as the torrent from Yosemite Falls (standing at 2,425 ft) palleted vertically to the valley below.
