Sarah photographed the Lake Rd house to showcase the workmanship of client, Trueline Construction.
As requested by the client, Sarah also took the opportunity to interview the home owners for Trueline's Social Media accounts. She brought along her assistant to ensure adequate time to style and video this spectacular build and its exceptional materiality for the builders online portfolio.
This beautiful home may be on a main road but what has been created here is truely an oasis in the city.
Positioned on the lower North Shore, Auckland, the two storey, new build is home to a family of 6, including their beautiful Saint Bernard.
Designed by Taylored Studios and built by Trueline Construction, this home cleverly turns away from the street towards its sunny rear garden. It features modern lines and light filled spaces, and contrasting places of quiet retreat with textures and materials that cocoon and nurture the soul.
On the day Sarah photographed the home the light played down through the central atrium, shadows dancing on the Canadian Red Cedar clad stairwell, reminiscent of her recent trip to the Redwood forests of Northern California.
